dwhoyt Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 Fully expected to get the Holiday Inn at the $59 price on Hotwire, but the Hilton Garden Inn is just fine, since it also has a 24-hour shuttle, and it also has fridge & microwave.Had tried Priceline up to $53, but I think Priceline doesn't often open up at BWI until close to travel time, and this is for next May. The security of having a nice place with shuttle running after 11pm (arriving 1030pm) was worth the bucks (it saves a cab ride or a $40/day car rental).I booked this as two separate transactions, although this costs a total of $7 more because I try to get bumped on flights, and the worry/hassle about having to call and try to keep the 2nd night of a two-night booking after dropping the first is worth $7 to me. The Hotwire FAQ was not fully clear about whether if you miss the first night that you can just show up for the 2nd.
