michie131 Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 I am trying to find a decent hotel in South Beach Miami for one night Jan 24-Jan 25.This is what I got when I searched:3-star hotel in South Beach for $79/night- Boutique hotel- Near beach2.5 start hotel in South Beach for $75/night- Boutique hotel- Near beach2 star hotel in South Beach for $59/night- Near beach- RestaurantsI am not really looking for something fancy, just clean and decently nice and not expensive. Which of the above would you suggest? I read in another post that there can be a varying range for hotels marked 3 stars. Does anyone have some advice? Thanks!!
thereuare Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 The 3* is a match with the WinterHaven hotel so that would be our best guess. Nothing that has been reported is a match for the other properties. When choosing an opaque property in South Beach i would strive for the highest star rating i could afford as many of the hotels there are small, independent properties, which can vary greatly in quality and it there is little chain of command to complain to should something go wrong. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make.If you don't go with an opaque purchase, i'd also check out EasyClickTravel as they often have some good prices on non-opaque properties.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
