64North Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 I started with $93. I was offered a one time deal by priceline form $137. I did not take it. I added south and increased to $120. No luck. I added north and increased it to $137 and got it.

OSUBUCKEYES Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 The Barbizon palace is awesome. Its one of the best situated hotels I have stayed in. You can take the train from the airport to the main station for a few Euros. All you have to do is cross the street and you are at the Barbizon palace. You can take the train or busses to any part of town or site including the Heineken factory, Van Gogh museum etc. Dam square, the main shopping streets and even the red light district are less than a five minute walk from this hotel. The public areas of this hotel are beautiful. The loft rooms with vaulted ceilings are nice.
Ridolph Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 Has anyone ever done better than $137 for this hotel (for approx Feb 16-20)? I'm looking for a hotel in Amsterdam and that came up as a counter-offer. I suppose it's worth it.
