gqxcasanova Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 1/17 - 1/19/073* in MTC $106/night for 1 personamenities: high speed internetplease help. thanks.
gqxcasanova Posted January 8, 2007 Author Report Posted January 8, 2007 also 3* in midtown south for $109/night 1 person same datesamenities: boutique hotel, high speed internet, restaurantsthanks again.
thereuare Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Neither of these properties have been identified. The 3* in the MTS zone may be the Marcel as the description seems to fit. I don't have a guess on the other 3* as there is just not enough to go on.If you book either of the above please use this HOTWIRE link to begin your purchase. What is your budget for this trip... you may be able to do better than either of the above for just a bit more. gqxcasanova Posted January 9, 2007 Author Report Posted January 9, 2007 thanks thereuare. hmm i guess i'm just looking for a cheap 3* hotel in midtown. my only problem is that the star ratings seem to vary so much between websites, that i'm not even sure if the hotel is going to be as nice as i think it is. i wouldn't want to spend a whole lot more than 120-130/night, but i am also eligible for entertainment rates.would you be able to id another one for me?3* in MTC, 1/18 -1/20/07, $119/night, 1 personamenities: fitness center, restaurants, high speed internetdo you have any suggestions on what else i could do? thanks.
thereuare Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 The above amenities are common for most NYC hotels (so no guarantees), but the Washington Jefferson has been seen with these amenities and is in this zone with this star rating, so that would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link if you move forward with this one.If you all you really need is a clean place to sleep (and don't care about room size) you could book a room (go with the private bath category) at The Pod for just $90/nite.If you could push your budget just a bit you could book a 1BR suite at the Beekman Tower for $144/nite or a Studio Suite at the Eastgate Tower for $150/nite. There is no booking fee with either of these so actually only about $10 more than a $130 priceline/HOTWIRE purchase.Let us know what you decide of if we can be of further help.
