Nounou Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 Normally I don't use Priceline for Vegas, but this time I just could not find any good deals via my other sources. After unsuccesfully bidding for 4* properties on the strip, I decided to go for Dowtown 3*, which is fine with me as I generally prefer DT to the Strip.I knew I was likely to get the GN, which I have stayed at before.Started at 32 got counter offer at 52used various rebid zones (Nellis and Henderson) to go up to 42, always got counter offers at 52Then I changed my dates and went from 43 to 47 in 1$ steps, as I have plenty of time to rebid.Got it at 47 (lowest deal around that I could find was 69 on their website).Check-In Date: Sunday, March 18, 2007 Check-Out Date: Wednesday, March 21, 2007 Hotel Name: Golden Nugget Hotel And Casino129 East Fremont Las Vegas, Nevada 89101 702-385-7111Your Offer Price: $47.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 3 Subtotal: $141.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $22.96 Total Charges*: $163.96 I have the option to extend, so it does look like a decent, not super, but decent deal to me.Thanks as always for the support provided on this board.I did use the savingsbarn link when bidding on priceline.Nounou
