First, I decided I wanted to stay in either Westport or St. Louis Airport areas.

I began bidding $27 for a 2.5* in the Westport area.

Then I upped it to $29, and added St. Louis Airport.

Then I upped it to $31, and added Hazelwood (has nothing above 2*).

Then I upped it to $33, and added St. Charles/St. Peters (has nothing above 2*).

This bid was accepted, and I won the Hampton Inn in Westport. With taxes and fees of $12.15, my total cost was $45.15. The lowest rate listed on the Hampton Inn website was $59.
