mgoblue94
1/3/07 I tried 4* DTW area only for $60 and was rejected Link to comment
thereuare
Since you can't (and aren't) bidding for a specific hotel, are you willing to accept any 4* property in this zone? If so, what is your maximum bid? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
mgoblue94
Reading through these message boards ... the Westin at DTW is the only 4* hotel in the DTW area and the rooms have gone for around $70. I am willing to go up to $110, I can get a room at the government rate of $115 directly was just trying to do better. Thanks for any help.BTW on 1/4/07I tried 2/12/07 - 2/13/07 Detroit, DTW area, 4* for $80 --> Rejected Link to comment
thereuare
See the comments at the top of every Priceline Hotel List on the board... you are not bidding on a specific hotel. Is the risk of receiving a different 4* property acceptable? If not, then you should book directly thru the Westin website... if it is acceptable then we can suggest a strategy for you to follow. thereuare
You have two re-bid zones available when bidding 4* in Detroit. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 4* DTW...Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $85, if rejected close browser and re-access priceline however you did previously.Select 4* DTW and re-bid zone2...Bid $90, if rejected add re-bid zone1...Bid $95.Any questions feel free to ask.If the above is rejected we'll revise to try again in 24 hours.Good Luck and let us know how it goes.
