mosie Posted January 2, 2007 Report Share Posted January 2, 2007 Started at $42 FOR 3* @ DTW 12/26-12/27/06. Rejected, added Downtown at $45. Rejected again, added Dearborn @ $48. Rejected yet again-- I was very surprised at this, because I have never paid more than $45 for 3* at DTW (either Marriott or Doubletree (now Metropolitan)). Hotel space must've been tight with the Motor City Bowl going on... :) Finally added Taylor and bid $50 and got accepted at Metropolitan. My first stay at Metropolitan since Doubletree sold it; no significant changes that I could see, other than the nice complimementary breakfast they now include. Link to comment
