cottoningsworth Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 Two Nights at the Doubletree Santa Ana/Orange County Airport for $49 each night.I wanted to stay at the Disneyland area. Started my bid at $40, rejected.Next, I added Newport Beach/Huntington at $43 rejected. Finally, I made the mistake of adding Costa Mesa-Irvine at $49 and the bid was accepted. I wouldn't have minded being in Costa Mesa or Irvine but the hotel is actually in Santa Ana. On the Priceline map, it clearly marks Santa Ana as a dot OUTSIDE of their map. When I called and complained, they told me that if I plug in the address of the hotel, it will fall within the boundaries show on their Priceline map. I'm definitely not happy because Santa Ana is one of the most run down areas in Orange County and I would not have risked putting down Costa Mesa-Irvine if I had known I could have gotten something in Santa Ana. :)
