mommystop Posted December 16, 2006 Report Posted December 16, 2006 We are attending a conference in Vegas from 1/25-1/27 and these three hotels seem to be about the same price (EasyClickTravel Paris $245, Aladdin $270 off the record, and New York similar on other sites) What would your personal preference be for these hotels? I know they are doing renovations at Aladdin, but maybe they'll be complete? I haven't stayed at any of them so anyone who has, please chime in. Thanks. (Also do any have shuttles to the convention center). This is a lot more than I expected to pay, but other people in my party really want one of these three hotels. Thanks

mommystop Posted December 29, 2006 Author Report Posted December 29, 2006 I started out at $100 for a 5*. I added $5 per rebid (105, 110,115,120,125) and then jumped to $135 for the last rebid. I was afraid to use Summerlin as a rebid since they have a resort in their area. Does anyone know if you can get a Resort property in a rebid for a 5*? If not, I might try to rebid at $145. I already found the Paris for $155 per night plus tax through the travel planners for the convention we are attending. The group I am with is really picky on the 4* properties. They did relent and add the MGM or the Luxor, but I am thinking we'll stick with what we have for now as far as 4* properties. However, I am keeping my eyes open for other good deals on the 5* properties. I bid through Savings Barn. I might try it with higher amounts in after the 72 hours also. Thanks
thereuare Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Thanks for trying thru the SB links :)The rate you mention above for the Paris seems to be an excellent one for these dates!
