It appears that Hotwire has added John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks to its Reno area inventory. Here's the hotel features: 3.5 stars, Casino, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services.

Notice: It does not have Airport Shuttle as a feature, which I failed to notice when I booked the hotel. The Atlantis and Peppermill casinos (one of which I mistakenly thought I was going to get) both offer an Airport Shuttle.

My Hotwire price for the Nugget from 1/14/07-1/16/07 is $39. It was listed in the Reno South/Airport area (which is kind of misleading, considering I'll be in Sparks). It will be interesting to see if I'm assigned a room in one of their towers or end up in the old courtyard building.

Just got back from the Nugget. Outstanding place. I was allowed to check in early (around 10 a.m.). Front desk staff was very friendly, and I was given a room at the top of the tower (29th floor). Very clean and spacious, although the decor was a little frilly (grandmothery) for my tastes. The customer service here is great, wherever you go. I was very, very pleased with this deal. Note: even though Hotwire does not have an airport shuttle icon for this hotel, the Nugget does indeed provide free airport shuttle service.
