Form44d Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 There is no listing for a 3.5* in the South Strip section that I could find. Details:3/15 - 3/18 for $249 per nightResortCasinoFitnessPoolRestaurantBusinessHigh SpeedGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServDescr: This distinctive establishment offers comfortable rooms, personal service and some upscale features.I was thinking that NYNY might have changed to a 3.5* but the BB listing has no call out for Tennis at NYNY.Could it be the Luxor? The Price seems high and I think the other result I got for a 4* on the same search matches Luxor at $189 per night. It looks like this:3/15 - 3/18 for $189 per nightResortCasinoFitnessPoolRestaurantBusinessHigh SpeedGolf NearbyTennis NearbySpa ServDescr: This upscale establishment offers thoughtful features, quality rooms and a high level of service.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also looking forward to the new breakouts for the Central Strip. Love the site, used it last year for our yearly March Madness Vegas trip.
thereuare Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 The 3.5* above is a match for the Monte Carlo and that would be our best guess. Please use this HOTWIRE link to begin any purchases you make. Please also be sure to follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing for this stay.Let us know how it geos or if we can be of further help.PS-Love the site, used it last year...We're glad you like it, but what makes this site so powerful is users sharing their results... so we wish you would have posted your previous win to the board when it occured; helping others as you have been helped by those before you :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Form44d Posted December 19, 2006 Author Report Posted December 19, 2006 Thanks for the help.Sorry I didn't post my results last year, I will this year when we pull the trigger on this.Do you think the 4* above is the Luxor? Thanks again.
thereuare Posted December 19, 2006 Report Posted December 19, 2006 Yes, i believe that property is the Luxor. However, here is another option:Book the Paris directly thru their website for $259/nite (make sure it's cancellable, which it should be). Then apply for their "Best Rate Guarantee" vs. the $218/nite rate thru EasyClickTravel. The Paris hotel should then honor the lower rate plus an additional 25% savings, bringing your net cost down to $164/nite, which is better (imo) than either of the deals above. :) Any question feel free to ask.Let us know what you decide and how it goes.
