jayh Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 Hi,I'm new to this site and using priceline and hotwire in general. I'm looking for a Toronto hotel for 12/16/2006. I went to Hotwire and they have the following:4 Star ($83) - Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet, Spa - Based on this forum i think it's the "Inter-Continental Toronto Centre" or "Sheraton"? They also have...3.5 Star ($69) - Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business Center, Internet, Children's Activities- Based on this forum i think it's the "Delta Chelsea"So now...my question is how should i bid (strategy) on Priceline to get a better deal ? Also, I wouldn't mind getting some of the hotels on the 3* list on priceline....but i don't want to get stuck with the bond place hotel which goes for about 89CDN a night. Thanks in advance !!!
thereuare Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 If you don't want to risk the Bond Place then you need to not bid at the 3* level.Based upon the 4* HOTWIRE above, what is your maximum bid on Priceline... we'll then be able to suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
jayh Posted December 13, 2006 Author Report Posted December 13, 2006 I was thinking about bidding $60? is that too high / too low ? thanks again.

jayh Posted December 13, 2006 Author Report Posted December 13, 2006 What do you mean "Maximum" bid? Sorry I'm new to this....if you mean the most I'm willing to pay. probably around $70...otherwise i'd rather use hotwire since i have a better idea of what hotel I'm getting.
