LoneStar Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 I think this is about as low as you can get it, as I was rejected at $28. Just looking for a place to crash for a night in the area -- zones closer to downtown looked expensive at the 2.5 star and above level, and at the 2 star level I felt more comfortable bidding in the suburbs. This hotel gets good reviews for what it is (an old Baymont, recently bought and converted to the La Quinta brand). If the location works for you, I doubt you can do better for the price -- Tampa can be a surprisingly expensive hotel city at certain times.
