suebee Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Used SB link.Tried several times to bid for the Millenium & NMA areas between $50 - 75 range and was rejected every time.Final try:$75 for Millenium-Loop-Grant Park, rejected.Added NMA-River North and rebid at $82, accepted.Never heard of this hotel, but I went to their site and the rate for the same dates is $135, so I figured I saved some money :) Looks like it got some pretty good reviews on tripadvisor.com. Hopefully I'll be able to share a positive experience as well.
thereuare Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Congratulations on your win!Thank you for sharing it with the board and for starting your purchase with the priceline hotel links at SavingsBarn.comThe Affinia brands (in NYC, i assume the same business model for Chicago) typically take over apartment buildings and turn them into hotels, so their rooms are suites and include full kitchens (just as an apartment would).Thank you for adding this property to our Priceline Hotel List. Please add your thoughts to our Hotel Review section upon your return.Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
AaronJB Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 The Affinia in Chicago was formerly the Fitzpatrick hotel (part of the chain.). Great location if you want to be close to Michigan Ave. shopping (it's just about half a block East of there.) There's a Corner Bakery a block South if you're looking for a quick bite.Glad to see it's working with PL.
