Hotwire2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Author Report Posted November 19, 2006 I think I 3* northbrook is the radisson Right? but really need help with the 3-star hotel in O'Hare Intl Airport ORD North $69 per nightamenities:Airport ShuttleFitness CenterHigh-speed Internet AccessRestaurant(s)Kitchenette
AaronJB Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 The 3* is likely the Radisson, which is a nice hotel in a good location. One could easily take the hotel shuttle (the website lists there being a shuttle, I haven't confirmed this myself) to the nearest Metra (which are sort of like Amtrak trains - two levels, bathrooms) train station, which is about 2M away. From there, it's a very comfortable ride of about 35 minutes into the city. Northbrook is also a very quiet, safe and upscale burb. Unfortunately, I can't figure out which the O'Hare listing is.
AaronJB Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Additionally - are you visiting the city and staying outside the city for cheaper hotel rates? I only ask because if you look for downtown Chicago for 11/22-24, Hotwire rates are very low, making me think that Priceline could potentially get you an even lower rate. The rates downtown for the last night are higher. If you're willing, maybe you could try to stay to stay downtown for the first two, then head out of the city for the last one. Just throwing out ideas.
Hotwire2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Author Report Posted November 19, 2006 Thank you for the wonderful ideas. I will check downtown rates too now. :)
AaronJB Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 No problem. Just post if you have any questions and I'd be happy to help plan.
