redraider Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 Had reservations at the Intercontential for 11/17-11/19 at $219 for a deluxe room (standard was $199). Decided I didn't want to pay that much so I tried priceline. Bid $70 - rejected, $80 - rejected, $90 - accepted at the Intercontinental!!! :) What is the chance of getting an upgrade to a deluxe room? Will they ever do that for priceline customers? Also, can you get priority club reward points when you use priceline?
thereuare Posted November 15, 2006 Report Posted November 15, 2006 As a general rule, no affiliation points are given on Priceline stays (although there are a few exceptions, and some hotels do give points for incidentals charged to your room). Some properties will honor your membership level a check-in (club room floor, etc). With the $129/nite you aaved maybe you can buy an upgrade if it's that important to you. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
