aladyncal Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I am new to trying Hotwire, but willl certainly consider it because of the info on this board. I am a frequent Priceline user.I don't see a hotel on the list that matches this, so I am checking to see if anyone familiar with NY has a clue.I have checked both April 1-April7 and March 30-April 6 (to avoid putting in my actual dates of April 1-April 6). Both times, this hotel comes up.Midtown East$1454*RestaurantPoolFitnessBusiness CenterTennis NearbyThanks for any help :)
aladyncal Posted January 12, 2004 Author Report Posted January 12, 2004 I'm wondering if it's the Millenium UN. I am not sure I want to have it if it is. On TOBB, there are negative reviews. I realize if I use Priceline, I have the chance to get it anyway :)
thereuare Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 Check out this thread and scroll beyond the first post: New York Hotwire Hotels and you'll see the following:4* Millennium U.N. Plaza HotelRestaurant, Pool, Fitness, Business Center, TennisSo i would suspect that this is indeed the Millenium UNHere is a REVIEW from a member of our board.Personally i have heard decent things about the hotel except for the location as it is a bit east and requires a little bit of a walk to subways. When you have the time, we would appreciate you contributing your past Priceline wins to the board. Thanks! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Travelling Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I was wondering what the trick was of avoiding putting in your actual dates on Hotwire first of all?Am I missing something and is this good practice for any reason while you are just browsing through possible hotels?
