Is $200 your maximum bid? Do you have a back-up hotel planned anywhere? Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?

$200 is the highest amount i have bid so far, but not my max. prefer to stay with 4* hotel. not holding a backup, but several options available if i don't find something on priceline. i'd rather not split my bid.

What (where and how much) are your options if the opaque suppliers dont' come thru for you?

don't have a maximum established. ritz carlton battery park has a lot of availability at $349.

Everyone has a maximum bid... based upon the Ritz Carlton above, would you bid $375 for a 4* hotel in midtown or would you sooner take the RC even with its downtown location? Relative to $375 for a 'known' hotel Downtown... how much would you be willing to bid for 4* unknown property?

HOTWIRE currently has 4* hotels in midtown starting at $275/nite... if you used this figure as a back-up (instead of your $375/nite above for Downtown), what would you maximum bid be?
