edepa
City Area: Universal Orlando and Sea World AreaHotel Quality: 4-star UpscaleWestgate Lakes Resort & SpaPrice per night: $59.00Subtotal: $118.00Total Taxes and Booking Fees: $19.95Total: $137.95I booked this for my spouse and her friend, who checked in there yesterday. They said the room was very nice, the restaurant nothing really for them, but it was fine. Room had a jacuzzi, king bed and queen sofa bed. They weren't cajoled into any sort of time share talk or pressure. After i had booked it and saw it was also a timeshare, i had some of the misgivings of the above posters too, but they said it is very nice and no difficulties. By the way, apparently the room is some sort of junior suite, and is only available with king/queen sofa bed, can't get two beds. This was a last minute booking, and only hotwire showed something as highly rated as four stars, only 3 stars shown on priceline. Link to comment
thereuare
Thanks for posting this (i moved it to its own topic since different date(s) than the post you attached it to).Can you tell us what date this stay was for since the rate is somewhat higher than we've seen at other times of year... might help for future reference if seasonal pricing is in effect in this zone.THANKS! Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
pomcoach
Hotwire and Priceline have different rating systems. Like this one, the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa is rated as a 4* on Hotwire, but Priceline only rates it as a 3*. Sounds like you got a good room!Pomcoach :) Link to comment

If you look at my posting, it said "I booked this for my spouse and her friend, who checked in there yesterday." and the posting was on 1/12. So, if i remember correctly, they checked in on Jan 11th and left Jan 13th. They said the room was really nice and enjoyed the stay, and felt it was a good deal! Link to comment
