007blur007 Posted November 14, 2006 Report Posted November 14, 2006 I won the following Priceline deal on my first bid. I wanted the Holiday Inn because it is attached to the convention centre, but would have been okay with the Sheraton. Both are listed as 3* hotels in the hotel list.-----------------------Congratulations, you got your price of $50 for a 3-star hotel room.Holiday Inn Select Niagara Falls Check-In Date: Friday, March 23, 2007 Your Offer Price: $50.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $100.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $22.15 Total Charges*: $122.15 -----------------------Price for an "advanced booking" room via the Holiday Inn website is $232.20 (plus 13% tax). Prices on Travelocity and Orbitz were identical.By my calculations, my costs were aprox 45% of "retail".Good deal!
007blur007 Posted November 14, 2006 Author Report Posted November 14, 2006 Whoops - there is a typo in the subject line. It should be $50, not $5!!!!!!
007blur007 Posted February 27, 2007 Author Report Posted February 27, 2007 Just as an update, this is now known as the Crowne Plaza Hotel Niagara Falls.
