I tried to get 4* Hyatt Century Plaza and started at $120 bidding in various increments up to $175 with no success (that's my max for 4*).

When this failed, I went down to 3* and bid $80 hoping for the Hyatt West Hollywood. This was also rejected.

I would like to get either a 3* for under $100 or a 4* for under $200 (tax included). Suggestions?

I just got the Tower Beverly Hills for $195 for a grand total of $232.03. I am not at all impressed with this deal primarily because it was a lot more than I intended on spending and second, because it's only a measly $5 bucks better than I could have gotten at Orbitz.com and this is not because I didn't bid properly.

Here's my winning details:

Thank you for sharing helping us add this new property to the Priceline Hotel List and for starting your bids with the priceline hotel links at SavingsBarn.com

Sorry you feel you didn't get a great deal on this one. The hotel's website is priced at $249/nite (i was surprised that Orbitz was cheaper) and at least the place looks nice.

Thanks again for posting and enjoy your stay.
