I had been watching this area for a while. The rates are extremely high for my experience with London. I think something must be going on in town this week. I tried Priceline about an hour before this bid and was up to 229.00 for a 3* in Bloomsbury/Marble Arch, Kensington, Westminster, and Mayfair/Soho. Rejected.

I think the price for the room on Expedia comes to 290.11. Not a great deal-but affordable rooms seemed scarce this date.
