Wanted a hotel in La Jolla, but this will work.

The one time I stayed at this hotel, I got the "Priceline Room" at the end of a hallway, facing the parking lot.

It's too bad, as it's a huge resort, with many rooms facing the water. (Which are probably more expensive.) It may be worth asking about the cost of an upgrade, or trying the Twenty Dollar trick, or just being especially nice to the desk clerk. The hotel will likely not be anywhere near full during the time you're staying, and the possibility of getting a nicer room exists.

Parking at the hotel is an extra charge. Parking is availible on the street for free.

The fitness center also costs extra, but the pool is free.
