I was HOPING it was Intercontinental...I LOVE that hotel!

But...I have tentatively booked the Omni for the weekend for $329 a night. I want to stay somewhere nice right ON Mich. Ave. I am scared to gamble on this Hotwire deal if it ends up NOT being Intercontinental. I really don't want to pay more than $300 a night, but I must be on Mich. Ave. What do you think?

I really would be very surprised if this was something else besides the Intercontinental & can't really think of anything else it could be, really.

While this is *not* a guarantee, the 3.5/5 tripadvisor rating on the detail page of the listing that we think is the Intercontinental does match up with the Intercontinental's current rating on Tripadvisor.

On the other hand, I definitely would *NOT* recommend the 4* in the North Michigan Ave/Gold Coast/Water Tower area though, as that would likely be the Knickerbocker.

I'm glad it turned out to be what you wanted! :) If you've never been to the Intercontinental before definitely go check out the pool, as the pool area's absolutely *beautiful.*

It's been about 5 years since I stayed at the Intercontinental, but it is gorgeous and I LOVE the location!

I paid $156 per night on Hotwire.
