Priceline Hotel: 3* DC (Alexandria-Old Town) Courtyard

did 3* Springfield $50

then added Alexandria-old town and won.

Nice hotel/rooms/service, right off 495 at telegraph exit. Priceline let me add a 2nd nite at same rate. Hotel website had $239 as the rate. My mom couldn't believe the rate b/c she just paid $75 for Sleep Inn 30 miles south of DC. Only problem is hotel requiring her to go to front desk to check out/in for 2nd night so she can keep the same room. Don't understand why she has to do anything?

She needed 4 nights though, so I did it again for Fri/Sat 11/3 and 11/4:

Tried 3* at $40 (Alexandria-Old Town),

then added Springfield at $45 and got Courtyard by Marriott Pentagon South (NE side of Alexandria).

Location is closer to DC and easier access to interstate off Seminary Rd exit, but don't know quality b/c she hasn't checked in yet. This hotel's website rate was only $110 for these nights. I guess weekends are cheaper in DC area?
