Doubletree Lowell review

We stayed here on a Saturday night in October. Very difficult to find in downtown Lowell. A myraid of one way streets.

Once found, a typical, nice Doubletree hotel.

Indoor pool, restaurant and bar.

Free parking in the lot or the courthouse lot next door.

One of the better Priceline bargains you'll ever find for $33.

Some folks don't like this Doubletree - but I find it charming and a great bargain. Wireless internet is not complementary ($10/day), but the Doubletree beds are great - the rest of the room was big and acceptable (not new, but ok). I found the town of Lowell kinda' charming in it's own way. My wife and I took the national parks walking tours related to Lowell's industrial revolution cotton mill history - and it was interesting. Plus, it was nice to be able to walk around a downtown area and be safe. Bottom line - if you gotta stay in this area - you can't beat the Lowell Doubletree thru priceline at these rates!
