zsjshopping Posted October 26, 2006 Author Report Posted October 26, 2006 Just did.We have 2 kids with us. Is priceline a right place?THX
byeloe Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 Not many of the Hotels on priceline offer all-inclusive as an add on at check-in, maybe the Omni but I am not sure. You should check Hotwire as they have several all inclusives. They also allow for the 2 kids.HOTWIRE currently has a 4* AI Resort for $225/night for 2 adults and 2 children for your dates. It seems like a match for the Omni
thereuare Posted October 26, 2006 Report Posted October 26, 2006 If you want an all-inclusive than Priceline is probably not the best option. You may get a hotel or two that allows an upgrade to an all-inclusive package, but a LOT of the hotels in this area don't have a "room only" and an "all inclusive" option... many are one or the other. As well, you can have an issue since priceline only guarantees double occupancy, and while many don't have a problem at a traditional hotel, this would almost certainly be an issue at an all-inclusive. Even if the hotel allows you to upgrade, you'll be at their mercy regarding the price as well as the suplement for your kids.Although priceline doesn't allow you to bid on all-inclusive properties (it is an option in their vacation package, if you don't have plane tix already), HOTWIRE does show you if a property is all-inclusive or not, as well as allow you to search for up to quad occupancy (and if choosing an all-inclusive i highly recommend searching for the correct number of guests). zsjshopping Posted November 3, 2006 Author Report Posted November 3, 2006 Riu Palace Las Americas All Inclusive$321/day for 2 adults, 2 kidsIs this deal good?
byeloe Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Does that price include taxes? Hotwire still has what I believe is the Omni all inclusive for $230 per night for your dates. The RIU might be a step up from the Omni but you would need to decide if the additional price is worth it
