xanthuos Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 Hello,I've got very basic knowledge of Priceline and some of the tricks to use to maximize your bidding...but I've come to you friendly folks for hopefully a "game plan" to get the hotel I'd like at the price that's nice. :)From reading posted bids, it seems as though the Delta Montreal can be had for about $50 per night. I'm looking for a room on 11/7. How would you suggest I structure my bid to get this hotel at around this price, or a nicer hotel with similar location (downtown) for a similar price? Thanks for help and I'll be using a link at SavingsBarn for my bid.
thereuare Posted October 22, 2006 Report Posted October 22, 2006 to get this hotelYou can't target a specific hotel on Priceline. Are you willing to accept any 3* hotel in the Downtown Montreal area? If so, let us know your maximum bid and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. If there are hotels in the area that you wouldn't want to receive, or it is important for you to target a specific property, you may want to consider using HOTWIRE were you cantake an educated guess at the property you're being offered.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly.
