i was surfing the net for a booking

then i found the " name your own price " service at priceline.com

is this service true ?!! because i am afraid to book through my credit card online :)

and by the way>> i searched for a phone number and didn't find

can anyone provide a phone numb. for the priceline in usa

If you read thru the numerouse posts on the board, obviously it's true, but there are some things you should know and understand about using an opaque booking service. Start by reading I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire.

As far as a phone number, not sure why you'd need to call them at this point, but priceline is notorious for difficulty in getting a 'live' person on the phone.

It is possible to get a live agent if you have a request number which means even if your request is rejected you can get a live agent but that is the only way. You would call 1-800-774-2354.
