msufan
I am traveling with a total of 4 adults. We need accomodations in NYC and are flexible with the location we stay. We would like to find something for around $200 per night. I saw an earlier post about a hotel for $129 on Hotwire, but it appears it is long gone. Any ideas? Link to comment

msufan
We were hoping to get one room with 2 doubles or 2 queens (preferred). We would like a 3* or 4*. Link to comment
thereuare
Priceline only guarantees double occupancy, after that is at the discretion of the hotel. It is NOT recommended to bid for one room for more than double occupancy in NYC. In family oriented cities you can often be "ok" taking the risk since the majority of rooms in such areas are set-up to accomodate more than double occupancy, but in NYC many rooms only have one bed, and some of these aren't even large enough to accomodate a rollaway bed.On the other hand HOTWIRE will allow you to search for up to quad occupancy, but i think you're going to have to realign your budget to more realistic levels for the above dates. Have you used our BetterChecker to get an idea of traditional rates for these dates? What is the best deal you're able to find? (i suspect it is much more than $200/nite) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
