TJB
It seems that not very many people bid for 2* hotels near Disneyland. Is this because they are too scary, or are the deals just better with a 3*? Link to comment

TJB
So, would your advice be to completely stay away from 2 stars? What's the bottom bid you've seen on 2 stars? Are we only talking a $5 difference between 2 and 3 stars or more? Parking fees at the 3 stars make it at least 20% more for the night. But 2 stars may just not be worth the risk?!?Thanks for responding. And, when I bid I will start with the link through savingsbarn.com Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are date specific... what are the dates for your stay? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
TJB
I'm flexible with my dates because I'm trying to hit Disneyland when it's not so crowded and get a place to stay at a good price. The dates I've been looking at are January 8-14. I wouldn't mind going into February before Presidents' Day. Directly from the hotel for January 8-14 the rates are:Hyatt $149Crowne Plaza $120Doubletree $108Those seem to be the 3 stars that are awarded often. It seems reasonable that I should be able to get a 3 star on priceline for in the 40's (plus parking). Is 2 star even worth considering?
