Hotwire Hotel: New 3* Oceanfront Va. Beach?

Hello All:

I am interested in what appears to be a new 3* oceanfront option at Va. Beach Sea Shore with beachfront, fitness center and restaurant icons. I could not find a similar hotel using the package option. Any idea?

The 3* i'm showing for this date has a LOT more amenities than jus the three above... are those the only three amenities associated with the HOTWIRE hotel you're being offered? If not, please list the full list of amenities that HOTWIRE associates with the property you're seeing.

Two different 3* properties have appeared in the Oct. 13-16 block of time:

a new option for Oct. 13-16: $95 Beachfront; Fitness Center; Pool(s); Restaurant(s); Laundry Facilities; High-speed Internet Access; Golf Nearby; and Children's Activity Program; and

the one I previous saw now available only for Oct. 14-16: $78 Beachfront; Fitness Center; Pool(s); Restaurant.

I normally use Priceline, but Hotwire now offers an ocenfront room other than the Comfort Inn.

I only need to be in the Norfolk-Va. Beach area on the 14 and 15th; I can overnight in Richmond, Williamsburg, etc. on the 13th, but my wife would prefer one location for the three nights. Of course we both will be watching a football game television Sat. night won't we?

I have looked into this quite a bit and unfortunately can't come up with anything Beachfront other than the Comfort Inn.

Let us know whatever you decide to do.

I may have to just plunge into this one; even the 2.5* has laundry which the Comfort Inn does not have. Also the Comfort Inn shows quite limited availability. I will post a likely new property.

Sorry, there also is a 2.5* property that has one more icon than the previously reported Comfort Inn. We may opt for this one. Thanks.

What is the additional icon?

The additional icon was laundry facilities. We ended up booking with a Mom and Pop small property, the Belvedere at $54 a night.
