Mschnurr Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 I think that I'm probably early on this one for pre-cruise accommodation in San Juan.Tried through Savingsbarn after being unable to get resort up to $140/nite.Tried to book Hotel Milano for a "back-up" but they want two night reservations during the high season.I'd prefer to be in Old San Juan for this one night but would like to not exceed $150/night.Any suggestions, or should I just wait until closer to departure?ThanksFish
thereuare Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 There are only a handful of hotels in Old San Juan so i don't think your chances of landing a property there are very good. HOTWIRE does have a 3* hotel for $145/nite (best guess is the Radisson... please use previous link if you book this)This is peak season for San Juan so i highly recommend a cancellable back-up if you intend on waiting this one out. Even 'average' hotels are $200+ for this nite, and if you're looking for a back-up i'd book the refundable rate at the Embassy Suites for $240/nite (there is a non-refundable rate of $204/nite) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Mschnurr Posted October 10, 2006 Author Report Posted October 10, 2006 Thanks for the info; I just pruchased The Ambassador Radisson 3* thru Hotwire for $139 + taxes etc.Better to be safe than sorry.I booked thru your link. Thanks again.Fish
