Priceline Hotel: getting a non-stared hotel included in bidding

I understand the star ratings for hotels but there is a hotel that I would want included in the bidding pool which PL does not have rated. It shows rates that would be consistent in the 5* ratings. I would like to have a chance at getting this hotel in a bid but I don't know which * rating I should choose. Any suggestions?

Does it meet Priceline's 5* criteria? What is the highest star rating offered for bidding by priceline in the zone that you believe this hotel is located in? Bid the highest star rating available in the zone that you think this hotel is located in. If that zone only offers up to 3* bidding then the hotel that you like may not participate with priceline.

Exactly what hotel is it that you are refering to and its zone and star rating?

The hotel is the Royal Horseguards in London. I believe it is in the Soho district.

As per the Priceline Hotel List this has been reported as a 4* property... what do you mean when you say "which PL does not have rated".

I think he refers to the Priceline-non-opaque offers which appear before switching over towards "name your own price".
