Katja775 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 We booked very cheap flights to JFK from 11/27-12/1/2006 , now we are looking for a great place to stay during this time. Regarding the Rates for Manhatten we decided to stay in Jersey. I haven`t found bidding assistance for this time of the year yet. Is it too early to bid ? The hotel rates for this time are 279$ for the Hyatt . I am keen on staying at the hyatt but it wouldn`t be the worst case if it `ll be the doubletree. Any help / bidding assistancen ?Greetings from Germany Kati :)

blindman Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 FYIOn HOTWIRE there is a 2* for $110 for the whole duration of your stay. This is 99% certain to be the Candlewood suites.Would this be favourable ( I assume in your original post you were only looking for 3*)If so you may be able to get it for less than $110 on PL.
thereuare Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Would the Hotwire offer above suit your needs (for that price?) Be sure to match the amenities shown on your HOTWIRE search with that in our Hotwire Hotel List.Do note that:1) standard rooms at this property only have one bed2) if you try to beat the above rate thru Priceline you could receive some other 2* rated hotel in the zone (same applies with Hotwire, but with Hotwire you'll have an educated guess based upon the amenities shown)Please use this HOTWIRE link for any purchases if you go that route.Let us know your thoughts on the above. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
