Priceline Hotel: Sheraton South Portland

From my observation it looks like the going rate for Sheraton South Portland is now $54. I know somebody that has received this property for this amount on three different bids.

Thanks for the info, but given that the 'wins' are (i assume) for different dates, it could be possible that this particular hotel has multiple priceline rates.

For example, when occupancy is at 50% the hotel will have a $52 rate, and when their occupancy is at 70% they'll have a $54 rate.

Another possibility is that pricing is seasonal. The wins posted here for the June timeframe go for $52, while winter rates (or whatever timeframe you saw someplace else) go for $52.

It could also just be as simple as a mid-week vs. weekend rate.

Don't get me wrong, the info is appreciated, but we may not have enough info to draw this conclusions just yet. On the other hand, higher rates wouldn't surprise me at all since the hotel market in many markets seems to be getting stronger.
