I have gleaned much advice on this forum in recent weeks.Bidding 3 star in Plantation area, hoping to get the Crowne Plaza the nights of January 8 + 9.Bid $40 and was rejectedAdded FLL Downtown and bid $45--RejectedAdded FLL Beach and raised bid to $51--AcceptedI'm sure I could have done better, but I'm still learning how to effectively bid on Priceline. Thanks again to those who have posted bids.
thereuare Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your information (as many others have)I think you did good, and since you had the Plantation zone selected from the first bid you know that this hotel couldn't be had for less than $45.When you added the other zones you risked getting hotels in those zones as well. However, effectively using re-bids you had two opprotunities to bid again without the risk of getting a different zone.
