Hotwire Hotel: 2.5* Ottawa (Downtown) Les Suites

I had been getting Ottawa's LES SUITES hotel almost weekly since September 2003 on PriceLine between $33 and $37 (US) per night.

That bid range rate now appears to not be available in January. I have tried a number of different bidding combinations over the last three weeks....Bids of $38 (US) or higher have been bumping me to a 3* at the Radisson or Crowne Plaza.

Those hotels are fine if I am by myself on business, but when my family wants to join me - the "separate bedroom" suites at Les Suites are a must.

So I bit the bullet and made my first Hotwire booking....still about $60 (CDN) below the rack rate on the hotel website.
