Hotel is a bit out of the way in "Weissensee". The rate on Expedia is $93.76 with taxes (American breakfast included). I'm not too happy with my "purchase".

Thank you for sharing your results with the board.

If you weren't sure or didn't have a very good guess as to the hotel you would received, you should have asked for help before making your purchase, somebody here may have been able to take a guess and this property may have been among the possibilities.

Enjoy your stay... hopefully you'll ask for assistance before any future opaque purchases and will be able to avoid any future disappointments.

I like the hotel and that is not the problem, I was just a bit disappointed over the fact that this Hotwire booking is not cheaper than a conventional booking. I am willing to take the risk of an unknown hotel but I expect 30 - 40 % savings when I book with Priceline or Hotwire.

In my book that was no deal at all.
