Starting bidding for 11/23 - 11/26 at $150. Added 2 rebid zones and the price of $160 was accepted with extend your stay option. Decided to add another night however I thought I could do better than the $160 for a Sunday night so for 11/26 - 11/27 started bidding at $110 and added 2 rebid zones and price of $120 was accepted.

Before I started bidding I checked Venetian website and they had rooms listed at $209 for the dates of 11/23 - 11/26, however I failed to check Hotwire until after I won on Priceline and saw that they had what looked like the Venetian at $175 a night so I guess I saved $15 a night. I'm very happy with price and room but I was wondering if it's typical to save $15 a night using Priceline instead of Hotwire.

For 11/26 - 11/27 Hotwire had price of $161 for Venetian so I saved a little more for Sunday night.

Thank you for sharing your win(s) with the board and for starting your bids with the priceline hotel links at SavingsBarn.com

At some properties there is a bigger difference in price between Priceline and Hotwire, at this property the difference is usually not that great, especially when hotel direct rates are under $200/nite. As well, lately the savings over a direct booking at the Venetian, when rates are under $200, is typically only $20-$40/nite, so there's not much margin for there to be too large of a difference in price between priceline and HOTWIRE.

Enjoy your stay... and good luck in Vegas :)
