decaff38 Posted September 22, 2006 Report Share Posted September 22, 2006 I have to go to a conference in Mpls. on Oct. 8-9 at the Crowne plaza in Brooklyn Center/Coon Rapids. I really didn't want to pay the $110.00 block price. Thought I would check out betterbiddings listings to see if I could get close for cheaper!! Wow!! I got the Crowne Plaza with the exact address for 47.00. I was so excited!!The amenities listed for the CrownePlaze 2200 Freway Blvd - Brooklyn Center/Coon Rapids area were:Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant, and High Speed Internet.I'll let you know what it is like. I heard it was a Holdiay Inn Select or Hilton and that has been upgraded. I also got a great price on the 4 points Sheraton near the Metrodome for about 45.00 in March and forgot to post. I was a fabulous hotel very close to downtown mpls. Link to comment
