kohalasunset Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 Has anyone ever been accepted on a very low bid? Thought occurred to me (and maybe others) that you might get 'lucky' once in a while. Airlines sometimes have incredible fares and some very fortunate people get fantastic deals. They usually go on message boards after the fare has been pulled, of course. Just a thought. If some hotels load prices on a daily basis, is there a chance you could be the one who lands the deal?!
thenewbie Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Priceline has minimum bids programmed into their system, so it'll be hard to find any major price errors.I can't find the page listing them now, but from looking at their html code, I think these may be the minimums:1 Star = $152 Star = $172.5 Star = $193 Star = $253.5 Star = $30 (although it looks like their html code is set for $50) 4 Star = $40Resort = $405 Star = $55
kohalasunset Posted September 21, 2006 Author Report Posted September 21, 2006 Thenewbie, thanks! Those numbers are amazingly low. Wasn't sure anyone would reply. It's a fun idea. Who wouldn't want a $40 resort!!
