Priceline Hotel: 4* in NYC- 11/20-11/24 Help Please :)

Good evening,

I need help finding a 4* in NYC from 11/20-11/24 (Thanksgiving week-- tough week). A friend had tried prior to finding this board and here is how it went:

Downtown - SoHo - Financial District- Starting $145

Added Midtown West in re-bid for $175

Added Midown South in re-bid for $185

Added Upper Midtown for $200

$200 was hopefully going to be our max bid. Our goal was to get the Millenium Hilton. Their rates online (even through Expedia, Orbitz and Hilton) are $249/night as of today. I really thought $200/night would get it!

Any advice would be appreciated. A 2nd choice would also be in Financial District-- Marriott (I believe 3*)

There is a 3* hotel on HOTWIRE in the MTC zone for $115/nite which, although you asked about 4* hotels, seems like a pretty good. The amenities match those of the Hudson Hotel so that would be our best guess as to the id of this property... but of course no guarantees :)

I ended up getting the Marriott Financial Center at $189/night via pre-paid through Expedia. It was there one night, not the other and then was available again yesterday for the 4 nights.
