Mike C
Good evening,I need help finding a 4* in NYC from 11/20-11/24 (Thanksgiving week-- tough week). A friend had tried prior to finding this board and here is how it went:Downtown - SoHo - Financial District- Starting $145Added Midtown West in re-bid for $175Added Midown South in re-bid for $185Added Upper Midtown for $200$200 was hopefully going to be our max bid. Our goal was to get the Millenium Hilton. Their rates online (even through Expedia, Orbitz and Hilton) are $249/night as of today. I really thought $200/night would get it!Any advice would be appreciated. A 2nd choice would also be in Financial District-- Marriott (I believe 3*)Thank you so much!MikeArlington, VA Link to comment
thereuare
There is a 3* hotel on HOTWIRE in the MTC zone for $115/nite which, although you asked about 4* hotels, seems like a pretty good. The amenities match those of the Hudson Hotel so that would be our best guess as to the id of this property... but of course no guarantees :)Please use this HOTWIRE link if you choose to book this property. If this is not acceptable, is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?Let us know your thoughts on each of the options above. Mike C
Thanks for the prompt response! :)I ended up getting the Marriott Financial Center at $189/night via pre-paid through Expedia. It was there one night, not the other and then was available again yesterday for the 4 nights.I greatly appreciate your assistance!MikeArlington, VA Link to comment
