Get off at Lex and 53rd (4 stops) then transfer to the 4 Train and that goes right up to the stadium. Its a lot of stops but that is the best train to take to the Stadium. Its something like 12 stops. Good luck! Go Yanks!
luckyg Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I found an awesome web site for getting around NYC. www.hopstop.com You put in the locations and it will tell you which subway or bus or how to walk. It is incredible. Good luck!

Penn Station is on 33rd between 7th and 8th Avenues, and the hotel is on 45th and 8th Avenue, so you are only talking about 12 short blocks. If the weather is bad, you could hop on the any 8th Avenue subway train and take it one stop to 42nd Street. (If you walk to the front of the platform, you can exit the subway station at 44th and 8th Avenue, so you wouldn't even get very wet.) From the hotel, your best bet is to walk uptown to Columbus Circle/59th Street (14 short blocks). From there you can catch the B or the D which will take you up to the stadium... or if it's raining, you can go back to 44th and 8th Avenue and take the subway uptown to 59th Street and change trains for the B or the D.
