grober Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 I would appreciate advice on a bidding strategry for the Venetian (from what I understand - the only 5* on priceline in Las Vegas). I will be in Vegas from Nov 2/06 to Nov 5/06. The Venetian website is quoting $429 per night. Thanks so much!
thereuare Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 A reminder that you're not bidding on the Venetian... you're bidding on a 5* hotel in the zone. As per the top of the Priceline Hotel List new hotels can be added at any time and you can be the first to report a new hotel at the 5* level in this zone. What is your maximum bid? thereuare Posted September 17, 2006 Report Posted September 17, 2006 I don't think your chances are very good, but to give it a try...You have seven re-bid zones available at the 5* level in Las Vegas. If you're not familiar with re-bidding please read Priceline Re-Bidding Explained and feel free to ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before proceeding.Select 5* Strip...Bid $150, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $175, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $200, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $210, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $220, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $230, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $240, if rejected add re-bid zone...Bid $250.Any questions feel free to ask.Good LUck and let us know how it goes.
