The Head of the Charles Regatta is happening in Cambridge this weekend, so I knew availability would be very difficult. My first preference was for Cambridge, but ended up with Boston. My max limit was $140.

Tried 4* in Cambridge - Bids were $80, $100, $120 and $140. All rejected.

Tried 4* in Cambridge with slightly different dates (to avoid the Regatta crowd) - Bids were $80, $100, $120 and $140. All Rejected.

Tried 3* in Cambridge - Bids were $60, $75, $85 and $100. All rejected.

Tried 3* in Cambridge with slightly different dates - Bids were $80, $100, $120 and $140. All Rejected.

Tried 4* in Boston (Downtown) - Bids were $80, $100, $125 and $140. All Rejected.

Tried 4* in Boston (Copley) - Bids were $80, $100, $125 and $140. All Rejected.

Tried 3* in Boston (Downtown) - Bids were $60, $75 and $90. $90 was accepted at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. Perhaps I could have bid a bit lower?

Hotwire was showing a hotel in the area for $111/night for a 3* hotel, so I knew not to bid over that for a 3* in Downtown Boston.
