puchalskir Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 Have been bidding both San Antonio and Austin 4* for the last month for 2 nights 9/15-17.Failed in 4* San Antonio bidding up to $160 and failed 4* Austin up to $140 and 3* $90. Rates weren't that expensive in Austin either. The Omni was $179 both nights. I decided to bid for only one night, starting at $75, bidding in $5 increments. I ended up getting the Hilton for $95. I used Marriott points to stay in SA the next night.Check-In Date: Fri, Sep 15, 2006 Check-Out Date: Sat, Sep 16, 2006 Your Offer Price: $95.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $95.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $22.51 Total Charges*: $117.51 I tried to extend the stay at the same price, but to no avail.Rich Link to comment
