Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* Whistler (Main Village-Village North) Hilton

This is a sweet deal - the hotel is new and very, very nice. Pleasant staff, nice amenities great location. Be aware of the $20 parking charge (both times) and the summer $15/night mandatory "resort fee" (August stay only). Still a nice price for what you get - I'd rate the hotel a 4 or 5 star, easily.

Yes, this is right in the middle of Whistler Village - I guess, on the north end.
