Is this a normal cridt card practice? I have yet to make a bid until the sundatnce of this information request is confirmned.Rob from Ottawa
ufauxreal Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Yes, it is common practice to request that 3 digit number when a card is not physically present to be swiped. It is a protection for you so that a credit card number that may have been stolen can not be used.I am finding that most online purchases I make require that number.JB
